Eating, drinking, marrying, celebrating, posting online, making plans for tomorrow. But underneath this ordinary life, there is corruption, wickedness, violence, and a spiritual deadness. that deadness recently when some even celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
All right, if you’re just joining us, um Charlie Kirk, American icon, my friend, dead tonight at 31. He was assassinated while speaking speaking to kids, young people at a college campus event at Utah
Valley University. feature some of the ugliness, some of the utter depravity that has followed the murder of Charlie Kirk, a thoroughly decent, principled man brutally murdered today. And the
soulless ghouls of the left were quick to celebrate. There are a lot of people that are like, no matter
what side of politics you’re on, you should never celebrate something bad happening to someone. I, on the other hand, do cheer when bad things happen to bad people. Charlie Kirk just got shot. A chilling sign of consciences that no longer feel. These are not random events. They are reminders that we are drawing closer and closer to the return of Jesus. Jesus said, Matthew 24:38, “For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage until the day
that Noi entered into the ark.” He was not condemning eating, drinking, or marriage. Those are good gifts of God. The point is that people were so wrapped up in the routines of life that they ignored the warnings of God. Noah was building the ark, and every hammer strike was a sermon. Every board
