THE EARTH CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE

centuries, this massive Russian volcano roaring back to life, sending plumes of ash and smoke three miles up into the air. Just days before, a massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake had rocked the same
region as if the very crust of the earth were crying out in anguish. These images captured by a stunned
helicopter tour guide mid-flight as he flew over the Crescenia volcano. Meanwhile, across the globe, the United States has faced flash floods on a scale rarely seen in recent memory. Flash flooding has surged into the spotlight this summer. From Texas to North Carolina to the Northeast, record breaking flood events have happened backto back across the country. Streets have turned into rivers. Homes have been swallowed whole. Entire communities have been left underwater. It seems as if the earth itself is convulsing. Hey, graph noon. Sam and Steve. contributing to the intense rainfall and flooding that we’ve seen hit areas from the Texas Hill Country to New York City. Heavy rain and deadly flash flooding putting communities across the United States underwater. It feels like events like last night again, not just in New Jersey, but as a general matter, are coming more frequently with more intensity.
