THE BIBLE WAS RIGHT AGAIN!

Anchorage. The venue has symbolism for both country. Alaska was once Russian territory, but sold to
the US more than 150 years ago. A piece of common history not lost on the US president.
This was no ordinary diplomatic meeting. For Putin, it marked his first visit to Western soil since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
For Trump, it was a chance to present himself as a dealmaker on the global stage. For the rest of us, it was a sobering reminder that the Bible’s words are unfolding before our very eyes. The scriptures tell us in Ecclesiastes 3:8 that there is a time for war and a time for peace.
Moments like this remind us how fragile peace can be in a fallen world and how human leaders wrestle with decisions that can shape history. After roughly three hours of talks, both men emerged without a concrete breakthrough. Trump admitted bluntly, “We didn’t get there. There was no ceasefire, no formal agreement, no road map to peace.” Again, Mr. President, I’d like to thank
you very much and we’ll speak to you very soon and probably see you again very soon. Thank you very much, Vladimir. And next time in Moscow.
Oh, that’s an interesting one. I don’t know. I’ll get a little heat on that one, but I uh I could see it possibly happening. Thank you very much, Vladimir. And thank you all. Instead, the summit raised even more questions about the direction of the war in Ukraine and the balance of power in the world.
