of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and persecutions as signs that would precede his second

coming. He likened these events to birth painans increasing in both frequency and intensity.
These signs were not random acts of nature or the product of politics alone. They are indicators that something far greater was approaching. And now more than ever, we are witnessing this acceleration firsthand. Global tensions have not eased. In fact, they are mounting at an alarming rate. In just the
last year alone, conflict has flared across multiple regions of the world.
Nations that were once considered stable are now embroiled in violence, coups, and civil unrest. Economic desperation, religious division, and territorial disputes are inflaming situations across
every continent. Thailand has closed all its checkpoints into Cambodia after fighting broke out between Thai and Cambodian troops along a disputed section of the border. The Thai government
said Cambodian forces had fired rockets into a border village which killed at least 11 civilians and
one soldier. And now Southeast Asia is facing a resurgence of hostilities that most thought had long been settled. The once simmering tensions between Cambodia and Thailand have erupted into open conflict, reigniting decades of unresolved disputes. Let us take a closer look at this conflict and what it
