On November 19, heavy rainfall triggered a landslide in the Pagelaran area, Chianjur Regency, West Java, according to Indonesia’s National Council for Natural Disaster Management (BNPB). Heavy rains also triggered flooding on 20 November in the eastern Java city of Malang, affecting 750 people from 150 families. Floods have affected parts of Sumatra. In the province of Aceh, the disaster affected the lives of about 1,000 people. More than 240 houses were damaged.
