God Wants You to Hear This

All that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Jerusalem is indeed becoming that cup of trembling. Nations cannot ignore it. Diplomats cannot set it aside. Alliances cannot erase it. The city of God stands at the center of world
attention just as the Bible said it would. And here is where we, the church, must pay attention. For prophecy is not given to entertain us, nor to make us experts in geopolitics. Prophecy is given to prepare us, to make us watchful, to turn our hearts to holiness, and to remind us that Jesus is coming again. When we see nations aligning, when we see treaties trembling, when we see wars and rumors of wars, we must remember the words of Jesus, “See that ye be not troubled.” So what do we do,
beloved? We do not panic. We do not despair. We do not lose hope. Instead, we lift up our eyes. We
lift up our heads for our redemption draws near. We take these headlines and we turn them into prayer. We pray for Israel for the peace of Jerusalem as Psalm 122 commands us. We pray for the
nations that eyes would be opened and hearts would turn to Christ. We pray for the church that we would be awake, sober, vigilant, ready for the coming of the Lord. And above all, we examine our
own hearts. For prophecy is not about watching the skies alone. It is about preparing our
